Get Ready for Bible Conversations
Across Teesside this autumn, the Bible Society are providing a major advertising campaign to encourage people to have conversations about the Bible. They will also be providing 12,000 free copies of Luke and Acts in a single book, as a resource to share and talk about.
So, this summer, at Emmanuel Church in Saltburn, Rev. Geoff Bland will be teaching an introductory class on each of these two Bible books, with each class available on four dates, on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings:
Introduction to Luke
Tuesday 10.45am -12.00pm, on July 28th or August 11th
Wednesday 7.30-8.45pm on July 29th or August 12th
Introduction to Acts
Tuesday 10.45am -12.00pm on August 4th or August 18th
Wednesday 7.30-8.45pm on August 5th or August 19th
The classes are free, with notes provided. Anyone is welcome but space is limited, particularly at the morning classes, so booking is essential. To register, please email geoffbland2009@gmail.com stating on which two dates you expect to attend, though there will be the flexibility to swap to an alternative date if necessary.
