Walk in My Shoes
The title of this exhibition is designed to encourage anyone with creative talents to contribute. Subject matter can vary from a simple drawing of a pair of shoes to a challenging piece which illustrates the difficulties of displaced people who have to walk in unfamiliar and dangerous places. Works will be accepted in any medium at Emmanuel Church.
Submission Dates:
Friday 6th February 1.30pm to 3.30 pm
Wednesday 11th February 10am to 12noon
Everyone is welcome to come and meet the artists and enjoy a glass of wine at the launch event:

Art Club
Sunday 8th February 2026 2pm to 4pm Guided Workshop
‘Theatrical Shoes’ exploring the characters in theatrical performance using decoupage, collage and embellishment techniques. All are welcome, materials will be provided. Participants are requested to bring source materials about a character in a play of their own choosing. Sessions cost £3 to cover materials.

I would like to encourage you to join me for Evening Prayer in Emmanuel Church on Thursdays from 5.30pm. It is the gift of one hour to sit and reflect on the Bible and, in response, pray for our church, community and wider world.

Life’s Big Questions in the Book of Daniel
A five-week video course from Burning Heart, a ministry about exploring the Bible through film. Presented by Anglican minister, David Ingall, the five videos will bring the message of Daniel to life for us this Lent.
